Hi there,

I found out what's the problem with the comments textarea. You're defining it's width by telling the number of columns it should have (50, in this case). So, if you're using a screen that doesn't have enough space to *show* 50 chars per line (which was my case) you stop seeing the characters you're writing until you reach the 50 characters (thus changing lines).

Armando, loved the slides. Really. As a user, I wish more and more flash developers got acquainted with this way of using their technology. Actually, I find it a lot harder to achieve the same level of accessibility you get using html+css+javascript when you use flash. Even if you do it right. This because accessibility is more than an ON or OFF kind of thing.

I might be fortunate enough not to need assistive technologies (and I do have a js+flash enabled browser) but I still have the need to be in control on whether a given link will open on the same window or if I prefer to open in a new tab/window. I also want to be able to pass a link to a friend and not having to explain him/her how to get to what I'm trying to share.

Great of you to spread the good words on this flash embedding technique. Kudos, Armando. :-)
