The amount of effort to publishers isn’t worth it. And the tools provided by Google also suck.
Better yet, why don’t they just allow users to rate the ads? Crowdsourcing, anyone ?
On Tv or press, if you see an ad you like, you replay or save it. If you don’t like them, you skip on trash them. Why can’t display advertising be the same?

YES.

This is why I only use text ads in my blog, hidden in the bottom of the page.

It’s a bit painful to use AdBlock on websites, because most of them are dependent on the income from the ads, in order to keep their webhost up. But I don’t want to be bothered with those annoying ads either. They’re trash. Companies like Movilisto have the worst kinds of web banners, I have no idea why Google accepts to let them go loose, with such poor taste.

I want to make parodies out of their ads.

Either way, I’ll join the protest and completely remove AdSense from my blog. It wasn’t being productive anyway, I still get text trash in there.

But you’re right, those ads suck.
